Today for art we did a creative drawing of a pugacorn. To do our drawings we create our pugicorn we watch a video and followed the steps. Then we coloured our pictures and were creative with our backgrounds. Finally we did an art walk and responded to each others art.

Another thing we did this week was we had gym and learned a few new games. We learned how to play islandball, beanbag thief, tikiball, 4 corners and pizza party. Also in class Mr. Pressey taught us how to play wink murder and heads up seven up.

For reading and writing we learned about brain pockets. We discovered that we can make 3 kinds of connections. We can make imagination connections, fact connections and memory connections.

Mr. Pressey taught us how to get onto Prodigy. It is a math game where we battle monsters with math. If you answer the math question right you get to cast a spell on the monster.

Early this week, evil/ sometimes nice, Mr. Pressey had us do a spelling test so Mr. Pressey can see how we are doing with our spelling. Mr. Pressey is going to use this to put us into our Words Their Way spelling groups.

April 16

Good morning everyone, I just wanted to remind everyone that we are having our first Google Meet tomorrow at 11 am. If you have not been able to log onto Google Classroom please contact me and I will try to help out however I can. To get onto Google Classroom log onto your student email in the same way that you would get onto Google Docs at school. I should have sent you a class invite. Remember this week we are using Raz Kids for Reading and Prodigy for Math and it would be wonderful if you were practicing your multiplication facts. Grade 3's need to know up to 5 x 5 and the grade 4's need to know up to 7 x 7. We will be using these skills next week when we begin using Google Classroom. Have a great day.

Also near the top of the question there is a prompt button that will give a clue and some math tools such as pens and 100 charts that can also support them. To prepare for next week please practice Multiplication facts with your c
